Summary

This is the first service user and carer led research group in Wales. The group is predominantly made up of mental health service users and carers supported by academic and research staff at the University of Glamorgan. The service users chair the meetings and undertake all the administrative activities for the group. They have formed an executive group, which meets monthly to take forward its aspirations, which are to lead research projects. We welcome new members to the group from service users and carers, service user organisations and academic/research staff across Wales, and outside Wales.
