Welcome to Mental Health Research Network Cymru

"Delivering the clinical trials and other well designed studies that matter in the field of mental health"

  • Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of large-scale research projects that will inform policy and practice as it develops.

  • Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of large-scale research projects that will translate basic science into practical ways of helping people.

  • Broaden the scope and capacity of research in mental health, including full involvement of service users and carers as well as frontline staff.

  • Help identify mental health research needs (particularly in health and social care).

  • Develop research capacity through a range of initiatives at a local, regional and national level.

  • Raise the standard of mental health and social care research throughout Wales, the UK and internationally.
